No streaks, no badges
The anti-gamification philosophy behind Failure Point.
Frequently asked
Why doesn't Failure Point have streaks?
Because HIT trains less often than most apps assume. A streak would punish the rest days that are part of the method. Recovery, not consecutive days, is the metric that matters.
Are badges or achievements coming?
No. Badges reward volume and frequency, which contradicts the brief, hard, infrequent logic of HIT. The only achievement is a heavier working set than last time.
Is there a social feed or leaderboard?
No. Your training log is yours. We don't compare users, rank them, or expose workout data to a feed.
How does Failure Point keep me motivated without gamification?
By showing objective progress: weight lifted, reps completed, recovery prescribed. The motivation comes from the work, not from artificial rewards.
Failure Point is a training logbook, not medical advice. Training to failure carries injury risk.
Consult a physician before starting any intense training program.
