This Privacy Policy explains how Failure Point ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. Failure Point is a training logbook for High Intensity Training. We have built it to collect as little personal data as possible.
Workout and training data (exercises, sets, reps, weights, rest days, notes) is stored locally on your device. It is not transmitted to us unless you explicitly export or share it yourself.
Purchase information. When you buy a subscription or a one-time unlock, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. They receive a purchase identifier and receipt so we can unlock your entitlement and restore purchases across your devices. We do not receive or store your payment-card information. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Diagnostics and crash reports. If a crash or error occurs, we use Sentry to receive a technical report (device model, OS version, app version, and the technical context of the error) so we can fix it. These reports are not used to identify you.
Anonymous usage analytics. We collect aggregated, non-identifying analytics (such as which features are used and basic session counts) to understand how the app is used and improve it. This data is not linked to your identity.
Where the UK GDPR / EU GDPR applies, we process the limited data above on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the app, and to perform the purchase you request. Because workout data is stored on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting the data within the app or uninstalling it. You may also contact us to ask about the diagnostic and analytics data we process.
On-device data persists until you delete it or uninstall the app. Diagnostic and analytics data is retained only as long as needed for stability and product improvement, in line with our providers' standard retention periods.
Failure Point is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
