Setup

Feet mid-platform, knees tracking over the toes, back and hips flat to the pads, safety stops set. This is the machine analogue of the HIT squat with far less balance demand.

Cadence

Drive the sled up without locking hard into the knees, then lower under control to your safe depth. No bounce out of the bottom — the turnaround is where form breaks under fatigue.

Where failure occurs

Usually mid-range on the push. When the sled stalls despite full effort you have reached momentary muscular failure — rack to the stops and log the set for progression. Train to failure safely →
